[Today in Christian Radio] Fawn Weaver said, “If you say, she made me angry. No she didn’t. She either hurt you or she exposed a fear….We cover that up with angry.” If we want to reflect the holy glory of God in our personal relationships, we should examine ourselves when we become angry. What specific words or actions hurt us and why? What fear was unmasked by those words and actions? Challenging ourselves to be vulnerable with our loved ones will improve our relationship with God and others. We will grow in humility and experience increased healing. Lord, help us to be humble enough to confess our past hurts and admit our fears so we can invite Your Holy Spirit to apply the balm of healing to those wounds and grow in the strength of the Lord. In Christ’s Name, Amen.
