[Today in Christian Radio] Dr. Mike Fabarez said, “You can go out and make decisions in gray areas that you think, ‘Hey, there’s nothing wrong. No one’s getting hurt. This is fine.’ But if you made those decisions without reference to your Creator….then you are not living out your life the way it is supposed to be.” This is a statement we as Christians need to hear because we are susceptible to the influence of modern culture. Society teaches us that there is nothing wrong with behavior that does not harm others, but Christians cannot live by that rule. First, sin is ruinous even when it harms only ourselves. Secondly, our Creator is grieved when we sin against Him. Lord, help us to let go of the non-spiritual thought that we can do whatever we want as long as it does not harm other people. I pray we would base decisions on Your will in every matter of our lives. Thank You that You are pleased to help us in this way. In Christ’s Name, Amen.
